Bibi has no real political support inside of Israel. He is a hated figure for all sorts of reasons yet he continues to cling onto power.
There are prominent Jews inside of Israel openly stating that they have lost against Hamas and that Bibi must be removed.

We lost the war against #Hamas, and our victory will be by removing Netanyahu

Bibi obviously could not care less about the hostages. His main goal is to ethnically cleanse Gaza of all Palestinians. Beyond that, he needs this war to continue if not expand for his own personal political survival. If he loses political power there is a very good chance he will at minimum be sent to prison if not executed for war crimes. It’s all or nothing for him.
