We now have sources from inside the United States government providing materials to the media describing how Israel would basically fail to defeat Hezbollah in a multifront war.

A secret assessment from the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) in Washington has found that Israeli forces would find it “difficult to succeed” in a two-front war against Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Washington Post reported on Sunday.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have engaged in tit-for-tat exchanges of fire with Hezbollah militants since the start of the war with Hamas in October. Initially limited in scale, Hezbollah’s pounding of an Israeli intelligence base with missiles on Saturday in response to Israel assassinating a senior Hamas leader in Beirut several days earlier, has marked a significant escalation.

While Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has promised to make a “fundamental change” to the security situation along the Lebanese border, American officials have privately warned him against opening a second front, the Washington Post reported.

“If it were to do so, a new secret assessment from the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) found that it will be difficult for Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to succeed because its military assets and resources would be spread too thin given the conflict in Gaza,” citing two anonymous officials and a classified report by the DIA.

It is obvious that Israel can’t win a multifront war against both Hamas and Hezbollah at the same time. I even doubt they could win a direct confrontation with Hezbollah. Just look at the events of 2006. If a state actor jumped into this, Israel would be quickly defeated.

The Jews inside the US government are trying to deescalate the situation so they aren’t compelled to send American forces into this mess. They’re already facing enormous political problems as a result of the genocide the Jews are doing in Gaza. They do not want to commit assets to save Israel. That’s undoubtedly why these materials are being leaked to the press.

There are other reports about the US using backchannels to negotiate a ceasefire with Iran but the Iranians are having none of it.

Other reports are claiming that the US is telling Israel that they are on their own if they choose to invade Lebanon.

It’s a very chaotic situation and ultimately what happens might not be up to any of the Jews in the US or Israel. They do not have control over what is going on. Look at the Houthi blockade of the Red Sea and the Hezbollah missile strikes to the north. The Zionist regime has dug itself a hole they might not be able to get out of.
