This is another situation that was totally avoidable.
Why does all of this machinery and equipment need to rely on computers and networks to build cars?
We have a situation where all sorts of technology has been unnecessarily introduced into manufacturing processes. Everything has been made overcomplicated for no specifically good reason and this only increases the possibility of things going wrong.
These midwitted assholes in corporate management just can’t see the forest through the trees. They literally believe that over adopting technology, putting everything into the “cloud” and outsourcing IT work to low IQ dotheads is the pinnacle of good business management.
