The United States is continuing its agitations against China and Russia. They have announced a plan to restrict chip sales to both countries.

Here’s a good question.
Will we see a war on chips?
Taiwan is one of the hearts for manufacturing semiconductor chips. ASML, the chip supplier, has a generational lead in chip manufacturing which everyone is eying.

Taiwan produces a significant majority of the world’s semiconductors. It is arguably the most important industry on the island.
This move is only going to give more incentive to the Chinese to launch an invasion of the island and take total control over this industry.
I honestly don’t know why the United States is pushing so hard to bait China into invading Taiwan. They have no military strategy to deal with a Chinese invasion and the end result will be total Chinese control over the island. The Chinese also make lots of things the United States needs and they could theoretically stop those exports at their leisure.
Maybe the people running things in Washington DC are just unhinged and stupid? That’s the best explanation I can come up with for all these ridiculously dumb decisions they’re making. Everything they are doing on the world stage is failing.
