Congress will likely override his veto, but it was the right move by Trump to veto it.
Trump has become much more radical in the final days of his first term. If he’s somehow able to hold on to power, I’d expect to see him get even more radical in a second term.
Of course, there’s a significant chance he will not be able to hold on to power unless he declares martial law. His options to stay in office legally are almost all exhausted, but we’ll just have to see what happens. It still isn’t over by a long shot.
