As mentioned in previous articles, the Supreme Court handed the Democrats several defeats this week. While this ruling against public unions was overshadowed by Anthony Kennedy retiring from the Supreme Court, it is incredibly significant.
The Supreme Court ruled that non-union workers will no longer be forced to pay dues to public unions. This means that these public unions which have historically been aligned with the Democrat party will lose a tremendous amount of funds. They risk becoming financially insolvent over this ruling.
Supreme Court rules in favor of non-union workers who are now, as an example, able to support a candidate of his or her choice without having those who control the Union deciding for them. Big loss for the coffers of the Democrats!

This is a good ruling. The whole concept of unions for public sector employees has always been ridiculous. But the fact that they were able to force non-union workers to pay into their coffers was always a crazy idea.
This was definitely another big win for the good guys!
