Yesterday, Donald Trump issued a number of executive orders designed to provide economic relief to the American people.

He did this after Democrats demanded all sorts of stupid bullshit in their negotiations for a new relief package. Some Republicans are whining about how this move is unconstitutional.

The Hill:

Several GOP senators voiced discomfort regarding President Trump’s decision Saturday to sign four executive orders meant to address the economic fallout of the coronavirus pandemic and bypass Congress.

At his private club in Bedminster, N.J., on Saturday afternoon, Trump signed orders that extend unemployment benefits, suspend payroll taxes, and offer federal eviction and student loan relief.

Some members of the president’s party took issue with the move, asserting that Congress should be legislating.

Sen. Ben Sasse (R-Neb.), who has spoken out against the government spending large sums of money in coronavirus legislation, offered one of the party’s more cutting rebukes, calling the theory behind the move “unconstitutional slop.”

It’s unbelievable what faggots these Republicans are and Ben Sasse is definitely one of the bigger faggots among them. The Constitution has already been suspended. Governors around the country have issued all sorts of unconstitutional lockdown orders that went unchallenged because everyone is afraid of the flu. And the only reason why any of these relief orders were signed is because of these unconstitutional lockdown orders. If Sasse and these other assholes were really concerned about the Constitution they would have fought the lockdowns, but they instead did little if anything.

They are literally claiming that Trump is a bad man because he unilaterally issued orders giving economic relief to the American people, due to a situation that was caused by unconstitutional actions. It just shows how disingenuous their defense of the Constitution is. They won’t defend it when it actually means something.

Honestly though, the American people couldn’t care less about these technicalities. We are heading into a major economic and societal collapse. They want a return to normalcy and they don’t care how we get there.

On top of this, the Supreme Court ruling on DACA indirectly gave more powers to the executive branch. So you could argue that what Trump did was totally constitutional based on this ruling.

But ultimately the Republicans whining about the constitutionality of this is just plain gay and stupid. No wonder they never get anything accomplished and are such failures. They’re just massive faggots obsessed with bullshit ideological nonsense instead of matters of practical consequence.
