Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio just got 22 years in prison for J6 related charges.
Enrique Tarrio, the former leader of the far-right Proud Boys, has been ordered to serve 22 years in prison for his role in plotting, planning and orchestrating the Jan. 6 assault on the Capitol.

This is obviously an absurd sentence. Tarrio wasn’t in Washington DC when J6 happened. There wasn’t even an insurrection. The worst things that happened on J6 involved a cop murdering a woman and somebody moving a podium. The cop who did the murder actually got a promotion.
This has been the latest in a series of J6 show trials that resemble something you would have seen in the old Soviet Union days. They are giving out lengthy prison sentences to people who didn’t commit any serious crimes simply because of their politics.
Joe Biggs “shook a fence” = 17 years
Ethan Nordean “used a loud speaker in the Capitol” = 18 years
Zachary Rehl trespassed = 15 years
….
Black man rapes women = 180 days

It’s worth noting again that Tarrio was an FBI informant and appears to have been operating under their direction. The idea that this colored person was the leader of an alleged WHITE supremacist organization was always insane but I guess he was the best the FBI could do.
Either way, the fact that Tarrio is being sent away for 22 years is evidence that the FBI no longer views him as being useful. His imprisonment should be a warning to anybody who is thinking of cooperating with the FBI.
