Montana has banned TikTok. The ban will be effective starting in 2024.

They cited privacy and security concerns to justify the ban.
I think TikTok and much of the content on it is garbage, but objectively speaking there are bigger privacy and security concerns with various US social media apps. Namely the apps that are run by companies with Jews in top management positions. These companies take your data and use it for all sorts of nefarious purposes. This data is funneled to the NSA and by proxy to Israel.
This is more concerning to me than China having access to my data, because the Chinese do not give a shit if I talk negatively about Jews, deny the Holocaust hoax etc.. The Jews are however very interested if I say such things.
So overall, I think it is dumb that they are banning TikTok while ignoring more egregious offenders.
