Meta’s Twitter clone Threads is not shockingly designed to collect all sorts of data on its users. It’s basically a spy app.
The app is so invasive that it couldn’t even be launched in the European Union because it violates their privacy laws.

The app is tied closely with Instagram so if you have an Instagram account and want to opt out of Threads, you have to delete your Instagram account.
If you try to delete your Threads account, it forces you to also delete your Instagram account.
