It looks like the campaign version of Donald Trump who we supported back in 2016 has reemerged. Trump held a rally in Minnesota tonight and it was in my opinion one of the best speeches he’s given in awhile. It was energetic and covered a wide array of issues ranging from immigration, the Russia hoax, the economy, North Korea and much more.

He even dealt with an asshole heckler in epic fashion.

Fox News was the only cable network that covered the speech it live. The other networks pretended like the event wasn’t even happening.

But considering that Trump has had to deal with a diabolical conspiracy to frame him over this ridiculous Russia hoax, it’s fairly impressive what he’s accomplished. And sure, we haven’t gotten what we’ve wanted on immigration yet, but he appears to be making his best effort. And he’s also started to make enormous headway on trade and foreign policy with the recent North Korea talks. There’s definitely been much more good than bad and the past few months have been really good. It feels like everything is going in the right direction.

Trump also seems to be gaining increasing confidence as this Russia hoax falls apart. When this insanity finally ends, it’s going to be interesting to see what he’s able to accomplish without that cloud hanging over him.
