They didn’t rule specifically if a genocide had been committed. They did however refuse Israel’s request to have the case dismissed and ordered them to preserve evidence. It only means that the genocide claims will be fully investigated. This in of itself is crazy because we don’t really need an investigation. It is happening in real time and being broadcast all over television and social media. The Jews have made statements making their intentions to genocide and ethnically cleanse the Palestinians very obvious.
In the short run, the ruling doesn’t change anything really. It might be important from a symbolic standpoint but in practice the Jews are still bombing Gaza, blocking humanitarian aid and murdering children. Someone is going to have to force these Jews to stop.
It is however, more bad public relations for the Jews and shows how isolated they have become.
