Germany is phasing out several of their nuclear power plants in favor of solar and wind energy.

The Hill:

Germany will be shutting down three of its six remaining nuclear power stations on Friday as it moves away from nuclear power in favor of renewable energy.

The nuclear reactors in the cities of Grohnde, Brokdorf and Gundremmingen will be shut down and disconnected on the evening of Dec. 31. According to S&P Global, the three plants combined had an output of 4.2 gigawatts.

As Reuters reported, Germany’s decision to fast-track its transition away from nuclear power was influenced by the 2011 nuclear meltdown in Fukushima, Japan.

Germany’s six nuclear power plants contributed about 12 percent of the country’s electricity production, compared to 41 percent coming from renewable energy, 28 percent from coal and 15 percent from gas.

There are all sorts of problems with solar and wind energy. While they might be fine to use as a supplemental energy source, using them as a primary source of energy is insane. Take for example what happened in Texas last year when a bunch of windmills froze.

They’re also doing this at a time in which the country is experiencing an energy crunch.

You would only shut down nuclear power plants if you wanted to make the existing energy problems worse.

Maybe they figure that the deadly vaxx is going to kill so many people that the demand for energy will drop substantially in the coming years. Of course, that’s just speculation. I’m not sure the people implementing these policies are smart enough to think that far ahead.
