Artificial Intelligence is starting to erase media jobs. The German tabloid publication Bild is planning on replacing several editorial jobs with AI.

The vast majority of people who work in the corporate media are worthless pieces of shit, so I am glad to see some of them losing their jobs to AI.

While I do think many media jobs will legitimately be replaced by AI, this new technology is also a convenient excuse just to fire dead weight. We might be seeing a combination of both with this news.

Either way, the process of replacing people with these AI tools has already started and it is only going to accelerate. It is going to spread into many other fields like finance, recruiting etc..

Blue collar workers who do things in the physical world will be far less impacted by this. Everybody will still need electricity and plumbing and there’s no AI tool that can do any of that.
