The European Union is preparing to pull billions of Euros from Hungary over their failure to commit to democracy values.

Hungary needs to seriously look at leaving the EU. It is obvious that they are not going to economically benefit from staying in this bloc when things like this are happening. The economic benefits was really the only reason why Hungary maintained their membership. They will be better off aligning with Russia now because they’ll at least be able to secure energy for their economy.
The EU seems to be doomed any way. It wouldn’t surprise me to see many countries leave the bloc over the next few years as the West’s economy continues to collapse.
