I wish Elon Musk would give it a rest with these crypto tweets. He’s causing chaos in the markets. He just crashed Bitcoin with a single tweet and lost me thousands of dollars.

Just the fact that one man can post a single tweet and crash a market like this is insane.

I like what Musk was saying about the coronavirus hoax, but he’s been really irritating me with these crypto tweets. I’m not alone in feeling this way as someone actually decided to make a “Fuck Elon Musk” coin to express their displeasure.

His comments about wanting a carbon tax and claiming that Bitcoin is causing problems with the environment is ridiculous. Bitcoin miners in the grand scheme of things do not require a whole lot of energy relative to other things. But that’s not even a real concern considering that climate change is a stupid hoax.
While I do like crypto currencies as an option to get people out of the regular financial system, I’m not a fan of its volatility and don’t believe you should be fully invested in these markets. I believe physical gold and silver is a much more stable and versatile option.
