A Dutch city is banning advertisements with meat in them because they say cow farts are causing the weather to get warmer.
Dutch city Haarlem will ban ads for meat to fight the climate crisis — the first in the world to do so.
35% of greenhouse gases come from food production, mostly meat like beef, due to:

This is just so stupid.
Europe is at risk of freezing this winter from a lack of energy resources. So wouldn’t they want as many cow farts as possible so the weather gets warmer? Why would they ban ads with meat in them to try and reduce the number of farting cows?
None of these things are ever thought through and it leads to all sorts of contradictory policies with no rational explanation for them. It’s just endless stupidity.
Either way, banning ads with meat is not going to do anything. The people who pushed and approved this idiotic rule deserve to be killed.
