There are reports circulating that the military drills the Chinese are conducting around Taiwan are going to continue.

It is hard to say what they will ultimately do but there is obviously a chance that they could setup a permanent blockade of the island and potentially even invade.
A blockade and/or invasion would be devastating for the global economy due to the fact that Taiwan is a major producer of semiconductors. China had no choice but to take some type of action due to the endless provocations they’ve endured from the United States. The Nancy Pelosi fly-in stunt was really the last straw.
We will just have to see how this plays out. But as I’ve mentioned previously, there is really nothing the US can do about a Chinese military invasion if they decided to go that route.
