As expected, there’s been a great deal of anger and outrage among Republicans and “conservatives” after the Biden regime announced that they were cancelling a minimal amount of student loan debt.

Here’s a sampling.

I think this anger is greatly misplaced. The debt cancellation is not very significant. It is nothing more than a stunt to get votes for the midterms. It’s not worth getting outraged over.

I do however agree with them in principle. Generally speaking, public funds should not be used to pay people’s debts. It is absolutely an absurd concept. But this is a reflection of a terrible system that’s built around taking money from productive people through excessive taxation and then reallocating these ill-gotten funds for various corrupt political reasons. The entire system is inherently unfair and has been inherently unfair for a very long time. It is a system that needs to be reformed so that it is in accordance with the Constitution, but that’s a whole other topic of conversation.

The thing is, there have been far worse abuses under this system that these people say almost nothing about. At the very least, they certainly don’t express the same level of outrage over them.

Many of these abuses have happened in just the past few years. Take in point the trillions of dollars in tax money that was wasted because of the virus hoax. There was all sorts of fraud and abuse with the PPP loans and other virus hoax programs.,

Or how about the billions upon billions of taxpayer funds that have been given to the Ukraine and Israel? How about all the insane Jewish wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria etc..?

There are lots of Republicans who supported all of these initiatives despite them being far greater abuses of public funds.

Being more outraged over the forgiveness of a minimal amount of student loan debt is silly. It makes these people look like they are defending this ridiculous usury system of which all of these student loans are based around. It’s a system that needs to be totally reformed if not outright abolished.

These people have also not bothered to offer any serious plan to deal with the student loan debt issue. They want to pretend as if this isn’t a major societal problem.

For instance, why can’t this debt like all other debt be expunged through bankruptcy proceedings? That’s one thing that should be immediately addressed.

Here’s another question, why can’t the colleges and universities that have these massive endowments be made to provide debt relief? These institutions have managed to lobby for a system that has made their endowments exempt from taxation. Yet at the same time they are providing an increasingly less valuable service at higher and higher prices. You could easily make the argument that they are defrauding students by misrepresenting the value of their products. Surely, these institutions should be held accountable for this situation in some capacity if not entirely.

Many of these institutions have billions of dollars in their endowments. Here’s just a small sampling of schools that have over $10 billion in their endowment.

On top of this, the people who responsibly paid off their loans and became productive members of society could be given a check or a tax credit of some kind as part of any reform package. That would help stem anger from people who paid off their loans.

These are all things that could easily be done. They could certainly be done if we weren’t spending trillions of dollars around the world on a failing empire that is in the process of collapsing. It’s just dumb for anybody to complain about Biden partially forgiving some student loan debt while there’s far worse waste, fraud and abuse taking place. They should be attacking Biden for not doing enough to implement substantive reforms as it is visibly transparent that his plan is nothing more than a cheap political stunt.
