Sri Lanka basically has no fuel left. They’ve had to halt fuel sales because of the extreme lack of any fuel in the country.

They’re asking Russia for help.

There are a number of reasons why this happened. There was generalized government corruption combined with dumbass “green” environmental policies and the lockdowns stemming from the virus hoax. The end result has been a totally dysfunctional economic situation.
No economy in the world today can properly function without fuel. It is the lifeblood of any economy. What we see happening in Sri Lanka is a preview of what you may start seeing in the West as the economic situation gets increasingly precarious.
