The extraordinary measures will apparently prevent a default until early June.
NEW: Janet Yellen says debt limit will be hit in a matter of days but extraordinary measures will keep the US from defaulting until early June

I would prefer that the United States government refuses to raise the debt ceiling and defaults on its debt because that would be very funny as it would totally collapse everything.
They won’t do this though. They will instead raise the debt ceiling again and create gazillions more dollars out of thin air on computer machines to keep this massive pyramid scam from blowing up.
Fake debt limit drama in Washington DC. 🤮
1) Congress will always raise the debt limit
2) The US Treasury will always sell more debt.
3) The Fed will always be there to print the money to fund their deficits.

The whole monetary system is fake. There is nothing real about it. It’s an unsustainable system and it is becoming observably more volatile by the day.
It is worth noting that the Federal Reserve increasing interest rates has now made it more difficult for the government to pay interest on its debt. The government will soon be making decisions on if they should pay for the military or pay the interest on the debt. The whole situation is nuts.
Meanwhile gold has been surging since the start of 2023.
