Twitter did a “fact-check” on one of Donald Trump’s tweets, and as a result, Trump is saying that they are interfering in the election. He also said that he would not allow Twitter to interfere in the election.

Hey Mr. President, they’ve already been interfering in the election. They did this by banning many of your prominent supporters. This left your supporters demoralized and without a voice within the digital public square.
Unfortunately, you took no action to defend your supporters, so now they’re going after you and will probably delete your account if you lose the 2020 election.
Twitter and these other social media monopolies have been operating as a publisher with the privileges of a platform for years now. And all we’ve gotten is talk and no action from your administration.
So forgive me when I say that I am highly skeptical that you will do anything substantive against Twitter or these other big tech companies that are censoring free speech.
I do however, hope you prove me wrong. As I would be fully back on the Trump Train if you restored my right to have a Twitter account.
