Today there was a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System. A highly obnoxious alert was sent to everybody’s mobile phones at around 2:20 PM Eastern Time.
TODAY: There will be a nationwide emergency alert test on cell phones, wireless devices, radios, and TVs.

I just wanted to take this opportunity to say that this system sucks and more specifically that it sucks a big fat sweaty horse cock.
Why does this system exist? The government obviously hates us and has shown over and over again that they do not care about our well being. So why would they want to warn us about emergencies to help save our lives?
I can’t think of a single time where this broadcast/alert system has ever performed any sort of useful or meaningful function.
Maybe they plan to use it to scare people into thinking that we are being invaded by fake space aliens or something. Promoting a hoax agenda is literally the only reason I can think of as to why they maintain this system.
