Most of us including myself, were not exactly thrilled when Elon Musk announced this content moderation council yesterday. It wasn’t exactly clear what this council would be doing, so I’ve been willing to give Musk the benefit of the doubt. He’s only been in charge of Twitter for a few days so it is not reasonable to expect massive transformations to immediately happen.

The good news is that after receiving some criticism over his council post, he did respond to someone accurately describing how Facebook’s oversight board was a horrendous failure. Musk implied that they might implement a “parental control” system where tweets would be rated based on self-selection by the poster and user feedback.

This would be a reasonable approach. That way anybody who is offended by certain content like posts with the words “nigger” in them could simply set their account to a level of moderation that hides these posts. The posts would still exist, but you could as an individual user opt out of seeing them.

It could as Musk suggested be theoretically structured similar to how movies are given content ratings. Web filtering products already do this for websites which allows administrators to block websites based on categories that individual websites are placed in. There’s no reason a similar approach couldn’t be done for Twitter accounts and posts.

This council that Musk is forming could be in charge of deciding what types of posts should be given what sort of rating.

If we compare it to the movie rating system, it could be something like this.

Rated R – posts with racial slurs like “nigger” and “kike”.

Rated PG-13 – posts that support right-wing views, Donald Trump supporters etc..

Rated PG – posts supporting establishment Republican views.

Rated G – posts that only agree with Jews and Democrats.

It could even be simpler than that though. You could just have a “safe space” feature that hides anything which might be remotely offensive to the average Jew, feminist or “woke” faggot.

Either one of these plans if implemented properly, would nullify one of the primary Jewish arguments that has been made for social media censorship. I’m sure the Jews would come up with new reasons to prevent free speech, but whatever justification they come up with would look ridiculous if there is a “parental control” or “safe space” feature in place.

Hopefully Musk goes this route. The alternative is unacceptable because the alternative is just a continuation of these mass censorship policies.
