The average price for a regular gallon of gas just hit $5 per gallon. This is the first time that this has happened in US history.

This is a problem that impacts the lives of average everyday Americans. So because of this, you can expect that the ruling powers in Washington DC will do absolutely nothing to try and solve it.
Instead, we are getting this bullshit circus series of hearings about January 6th, 2021 that nobody cares about. No serious person thinks that Donald Trump conspired to do a coup. Even if that’s what he did, the events of that day has no tangible impact on the lives of the American people.
These high gas and diesel prices absolutely have a major impact on the lives of Americans. Gas, food and pretty much everything that people need are going higher and higher in cost.
The solutions being proposed are all fake. The Democrats bill on price gouging would only cause extreme gas shortages and make things even worse than if gas were $10 or $20 a gallon.
None of this is good. Expect increasingly higher gas prices over the summer.
