Russian President Vladimir Putin gave a short New Year’s speech to his countrymen a few hours ago. It was a message meant to unify his people in the face of aggressive actions against them by the West. The West expected that their sanctions program was going to collapse Russia but it ended up strengthening it.
Compare his message to what we see from Western politicians who are constantly using stupid buzzwords and empty rhetoric in their speeches. Not to mention just outright lying to their people.
There is not a political leader currently in power in the West that is the caliber of Putin.
Russia is going to win the conflict in the Ukraine because they correctly view it as an existential threat to their country. They are justifiably fighting evil which the West now represents.
