There’s a number of Democrat politicians angry that the Arabs sided with Russia and cut oil production. This means higher gas prices before the midterms. They want to punish Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates over it by withdrawing troops and missile systems.

Three members of the US Congress have introduced a bill to withdraw troops and missile defense systems from Saudi Arabia and the UAE in response to their decision to cut oil production.
OPEC+, a group of oil-producing countries, agreed on Wednesday to cut output by 2 million barrels per day, equal to 2% of global supply.
The decision was made as Western nations continue attempts to curb Russia’s oil trade as part of sanctions over the Ukraine conflict, while also grappling with soaring energy prices at home.
“Saudi Arabia and the UAE’s drastic cut in oil production, despite President Biden’s overtures to both countries in recent months, is a hostile act against the United States and a clear signal that they have chosen to side with Russia in its war against Ukraine,” Democrats Sean Casten, Tom Malinowski, and Susan Wild said in a joint statement on Thursday.
I actually support a military withdrawal from these areas. The US military empire is unsustainable and will collapse just like military empires before it. There’s no reason to have forces all over the world.
It’s just interesting how they are using this as a way to try and bully the Arabs into doing what they want. It’s not going to work. The Arabs are probably tired of being lectured by Jews like Antony Blinken about the need to push feminism and gay anal sex in their countries.
If the Democrats wanted to bring down the gas prices, there’s other ways of doing it. The world is tired of blackmail and threats which is why they are choosing to do deals with Russia and China.
