After the failed counteroffensive in Kherson, the Ukrainians launched a separate counteroffensive in the Kharkov region. It looks as if this counteroffensive has actually had some success. They have been able to take back the small city of Izyum and a few other small towns. The Russians have also confirmed a strategic withdrawal from this area.
This appears to be the first actual military victory by the Ukrainian side in the entire conflict. It is a small one though.
If the Ukrainians and the Russians were in a football match, the Russians are up 7-0 and the Ukrainians scored a goal in the final ten minutes of the second half to make the score 7-1.
The pro-Ukraine shills are acting like this is an amazing victory and that Russia is in the process of collapsing.

The Ukrainians used the best remaining forces they had to do this counteroffensive and there is no guarantees that that they will be able to maintain control over these territories.
The pro-Ukraine shills are grossly exaggerating the scale of the victory. It would not surprise me to see these Ukrainian forces systematically slaughtered by the Russian’s superior firepower over the next few weeks.
