Turkey has expressed interest in joining the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

The SCO is becoming an increasingly more important geopolitical bloc. It now represents about 40 percent of the world’s population and 30 percent of the world’s economy. China, Russia, India and Iran are part of it now.

I’d fully expect more minor powers like Turkey and others to seek membership within this group as the West continues its decline.

Serious things actually get discussed at the SCO meetings. It’s quite the contrast from meetings like the G7 where Western leaders focus their attention on solving hoax problems and other nonsense of little significance.
