After calling for a major rally in Washington DC on January 6th, Donald Trump said that reports of him considering a declaration of martial law is fake news.

If Trump was planning martial law, he certainly wouldn’t come out and say it though.
General Michael Flynn apparently visited the White House and the media is claiming that the topic of martial law came up during the meeting. So this is basically what Trump is responding to.

There’s a slim chance that Trump could still overturn the election with the alternate slate of electors that Republicans are sending to Congress. But considering how corrupt establishment Republicans are, I am not expecting this to happen. Obviously I hope I’m wrong, but I still believe that a declaration of some form of martial law combined with a national emergency is the only way to potentially correct this grave injustice that’s occurred.
