The tangerine man is claiming that we are well on our way to a great economic recovery. All because of this recent government jobs report claiming that unemployment fell and that 2.5 million jobs were added in May.

They are basically claiming that people who were temporarily laid off and brought back on the payroll represent new jobs. But they are not new jobs and the government report admits that permanent job loss increased.

It says this verbatim in the government press release.

The number of unemployed persons who were on temporary layoff decreased by 2.7 million in May to 15.3 million, following a sharp increase of 16.2 million in April. Among those not on temporary layoff, the number of permanent job losers continued to rise, increasing by 295,000 in May to 2.3 million. (See table A-11.)

This report is a hoax and is being used as political propaganda by Donald Trump to give people hope. He probably thinks that he has to do this since he based much of his reelection campaign around how great the economy was prior to all the deranged virus nonsense.

Just the other day another 1.8 million Americans filed for unemployment bringing the total unemployment claims to 42 million since this virus hoax started.

The bottom line is that we are going to see all sorts of bullshit government statistics come out to make people think the economy isn’t as bad as it really is. The reality is that true unemployment is between 30 percent and 50 percent. It’s totally insane to think that unemployment has fallen with this virus hoax and cities across the country being pillaged by rioters and looters.
