The narratives coming out of Washington DC are getting increasingly more convoluted. US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin just said in an interview that he thinks Vladimir Putin is far too rational to use nuclear weapons.

RT:

Russia will not use nuclear weapons in Ukraine, despite threats to do so if attacked, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin told CNN’s Fareed Zakaria in an interview set to air Sunday.

While claiming that “there are no checks on [Russian President Vladimir] Putin,” Austin dismissed the Russian president’s recent statements – including a warning that he was not “bluffing” about his willingness to use nukes “to defend Russia and our people” – as wholly unsuitable for a global superpower.

“This nuclear saber-rattling is not the kind of thing that we would expect to hear from leaders of large countries with capability,” Austin said. “Just as [Putin] made the irresponsible decision to invade Ukraine, you know, he could make another decision” to use nuclear weapons.

But I don’t see anything right now that would lead me to believe he has made such a decision,” the defense secretary reasoned.

So Putin is far too reasonable of a person to use nuclear weapons, but he was also insane enough to blow up his own Nord Stream pipes. Pipes which generated enormous amounts of revenue for Russia.

This is literally the narrative that the regime is selling us. That Putin is a madman who blew up his own pipes but that he’s also reasonable enough not to use nuclear weapons.

No serious person can believe this bullshit. It’s obvious that the Russians wouldn’t blow up a major revenue generating asset like the Nord Stream pipelines. Everybody around the world knows that the United States and potentially one of their ZOG vassals played a role in blowing up those pipes. They stood the most to gain from doing it. To claim that Putin would destroy Russia’s own infrastructure even though it benefits the US the most is a ridiculous assertion.

This meme basically illustrates what happened. It was actually more of an attack on Germany than it was on Russia.

Of course, Putin is not insane. He has successfully led Russia for many years and is supported by a vast majority of the Russian people. This is not something an insane person could achieve inside a major country like Russia.

Austin’s belief that Putin wouldn’t use nuclear weapons is wishful thinking. Putin has said that he would use all means at his disposal to defend Russia. This includes the use of nuclear weapons. Also, using nukes to defend Russia is a far more sane act than blowing up your own pipeline infrastructure.

What’s clear is that these people inside Washington DC aren’t listening to what Putin is saying. They’re living inside their own bubble and don’t seem to know what the hell they are doing with anything. The fact that we see so many stupid and conflicting narratives is proof of this.
