Quite the headline here.
How inflation could help us save money — and maybe even the planet https://t.co/MPBInmiTJM
— MarketWatch (@MarketWatch) May 19, 2022
We went from the media saying that inflation was either non-existent or some sort of a transient thing, to now them writing articles about how inflation is good and that it will help us save money while saving the planet.
How do you respond to such utter insanity?
Inflation by definition is the devaluation of money so it is impossible for inflation to help anyone save money. It erodes savings.
But to then claim that inflation will help save the planet? This is lunacy.
Inflation is making it difficult for people to afford basic necessities. People who can’t afford the basics are not going to be thinking about solving abstract environmental problems. Especially not ones that are totally faked like climate change.
As an example, look at what is happening in Sri Lanka whose economy has been plagued with inflation problems.
Sri Lanka's economic meltdown pushed the country into default for the first time, with inflation forecast to surge 40%—the fastest in Asia https://t.co/3YiH1w7feA pic.twitter.com/B26mYbKP9b

This Marketwatch headline is literally retarded and the people who green lit this headline should be fired from their jobs and banned from society.
