The massive Canadian trucker convoy descended on Ottawa this past weekend to protest all the virus lockdown and vaxx mandate bullshit. Justin Trudeau fled the city in advance claiming some nonsense about being around people who tested positive for COVID-19.
When Trudeau finally emerged out of hiding, he called the truckers who took over the city a bunch of racists for simply demanding basic freedoms.

In addition to what’s going on in Ottawa, a major US-Canada border crossing has been blockaded by another group of truckers. This caused Alberta’s premier to whine about how the blockade has prevented free movement. As if the vaxx mandates and lockdowns that the truckers are protesting didn’t do that already. He claimed that he would be taking further action. I wish him best of luck finding tow truck drivers willing to try and move all those trucks lol.

This is a real workers revolution against the system. It doesn’t appear as if the government has any clear answers on what to do about this. The truckers have also pledged to maintain these blockades as long as is necessary.
Quite frankly, Trudeau has abdicated his responsibilities as prime minister by fleeing Ottawa and not addressing the truckers grievances. He should no longer be recognized as the legitimate leader of Canada. It’s going to be interesting to see how this plays out.
