During my news gathering efforts yesterday, I came across a post saying “I Believe in Joe Hendry” featuring the guy pictured above with a goofy grin on his face. This immediately made me ask who in the fucking hell is Joe Hendry.

I couldn’t help myself and ended up clicking on the link which directed me to this short music video.

It turns out that Hendry is a Scottish professional wrestler and this is his entrance theme. He’s largely been wrestling for independent and smaller promotions so I never heard of him until now.

I literally can’t get this cheesy piece of shit pop song out of my head. It’s like some sort of weird hypnotic brainwashing technique this man has tapped into. I feel cursed.

The song has gone viral, made it on to Spotify/iTunes music charts and spawned all sorts of memes.

I have to give the man credit. He’s a marketing genius. Here he explains how he came up with the song.

He also recently debuted for World Wrestling Entertainment and his theme song got a huge pop. The song has clearly made many people believe in Joe Hendry.

Even though he immediately got eliminated from the Battle Royal match after he was ganged up on by all the other wrestlers, I still believe in Joe Hendry.

You might be wondering why I’m talking about this but I believe there is a lesson to be learned in how to spread ideas and concepts with what Hendry was able to accomplish. He turned himself into a major wrestling star with this one very cheesy and terribly goofy ass pop song. I guess what I’m really saying here is that what Hendry was able to achieve in promoting his professional wrestler persona could be applied to other things like educating people about the Jewish problem and orchestrating massive political changes.
