The Guardian fired their cartoonist Steve Bell for drawing a cartoon of Israeli regime leader Benjamin Netanyahu in an unflattering light. The cartoon was considered “anti-Semitic” so he was fired even though he did cartoons for them for 40 years.

It is somewhat interesting to see how all of these major media operations are the ones largely responsible for suppressing free speech. In theory, the press is supposed to be the societal instrument which holds the powerful to account but instead they’ve become lapdogs and propagandists for the powerful. In a normal situation they’d be among the biggest defenders of free speech, but that is not the case in much of the West.
If these people actually did their jobs properly, there would be no need for websites like mine and others. We are only around because these people refuse to report the truth and they blacklist or fire people inside their organizations who cross certain lines.
Obviously drawing cartoons of Jews in even a minimally unflattering light crosses a line. It doesn’t matter if you’ve worked somewhere for 40 years. You’ll get fired for crossing this line. Attacking Jews in any way shape or form is considered a major issue.
