This is just another unnecessary provocation against the Russians. The war in Ukraine has at least been in part about NATO expansion. So expanding NATO further around Russia is just another agitation in an endless series of agitations.
Finland shares a lengthy border with Russia. It’s not in the best interest of Finland’s security to do this. They’re potentially putting themselves on the front lines of a third world war by joining NATO.
They should have maintained a neutral stance. NATO and the larger ZOG empire is collapsing and it is not something they should have any desire to get closer to.
I expect Russia will retaliate by shutting off gas to Finland which will hurt their economy which is already in bad shape. There are already reports that they are preparing to do this.
