They’re just going to keep doing this until they are no longer able to economically or militarily sustain these efforts.
It is also a convenient excuse to funnel money into weapons manufacturers. All this gear that the Russians are going to destroy will have to be replaced. Of course, making new weapons is not something that can be done over night.
