China invited other nations to attend the meeting.
China has invited Indonesia, Malaysia, Uzbekistan, Iran, Egypt, Algeria & even Fiji + others to BRICS+ meeting today.
These countries are likely to join BRICS as China & Russia want to expand it to counter EU. No Pakistan anywhere.

It just shows how the rest of the world is tired of the West. They view the West as a dying empire that is fading away into irrelevancy. The embarrassment in Afghanistan and now the debacle in the Ukraine is only going to cause more countries to seek closer economic ties with the BRICS countries.
