If there is one industry that should never in a million years be bailed out over this it would be colleges.
For years they have ripped off students forcing them to buy overprice books, pay insanely high tuition fees etc.. All while giving a large number of students a worthless piece of paper that did not increase their ability to make a living.
Worse yet, is that during this coronavirus hoax, many of these schools have charged students the full cost of tuition while falsely claiming that Zoom calls are the same as in-person classes. It was a rip off before, but now it is a blatant and total rip off of the students.
Most of these schools have also been Marxist indoctrination centers, pushing some of the most insane political agendas imaginable.
The entire college industry needs to collapse. Its concept is outdated any way and they are providing a vastly overpriced product. They were a staple of the pre-Internet era when information could not be rapidly exchanged like it can be today. And with it becoming increasingly easier to earn a college degree, the value of a college degree has vastly diminished.
There also really isn’t any need for students to pay enormous fees to attend these institutions when much of the knowledge they teach can be found on the Internet for free. The whole idea of college needs to be rethought and reexamined.
