CBS News vowed to stop posting on Twitter presumably to protest the reinstatement of various user accounts. After less than two days, they quickly reversed the decision. This after the Internet mocked them for being big faggots.
After pausing for much of the weekend to assess the security concerns, CBS News and Stations is resuming its activity on Twitter as we continue to monitor the situation.

They claimed that they were assessing “security concerns.” In other words, they somehow think that free speech represents a security concern. For an organization that is allegedly in the news business, this is quite the ridiculous position to hold.
These people should find another line of work if they think that increased levels of free speech is a problem.
I was hoping they would have stopped posting tweets permanently. It would have certainly reduced the amount of fake news and misinformation on Twitter.
During that pause, everyone on this app was safe from misinformation.
