The madness just continues. It’s one incident and scandal after another. The West’s aerospace industry is obviously in massive decline. The types of problems we are seeing now did not exist decades ago.
It’s also very possible that they are being forced to source counterfeit titanium because of the sanctions that have been put on Russia.
Because of the sanctions, US companies Boeing and Airbus are forced to stop buying titanium from Russia.
But now they are dealing with counterfeit supplies that come with fake certificates and lower quality.
