Prior to leaving on his flight to Europe, Donald Trump went nuclear on the Jewish fake news media. He covered all the big topics but what was most notable about the appearance was that his tone was far more aggressive than usual.

He said that he would never forgive Barack Obama for what he did to the country’s military, discussed the actions he’s taking to thwart the caravan invasion and said that he’d get to the bottom of the deep state conspiracy against him.

The entire Russia hoax is on its last legs. With Jeff Sessions gone, there’s going to be increased pressure on Bob Mueller to produce his report. The public is tiring of this endless investigation because it hasn’t produced anything of tangible substance despite nearly two years of investigating by an army of Democrat lawyers.

It would appear as if he is setting the stage for a counter investigation that will investigate the investigators and the Democrats. Clearly, a second special counsel is needed. The fact that Sessions refused to do this is another big reason why he’s no longer AG. There’s been nothing produced by Utah U.S. Attorney John Huber who Sessions directed to look into some of these things. So based on this, we can conclude that it was never meant to be a serious investigation.

Overall though, this new tone from Trump is good. Especially considering the antics he had to deal with from the media during his post-midterms press conference. Hopefully we’ll see more of this both in terms of rhetoric and in terms of substantive executive policy.
