I was really looking forward to those ICE raids, but now those raids have been delayed.
At the request of Democrats, I have delayed the Illegal Immigration Removal Process (Deportation) for two weeks to see if the Democrats and Republicans can get together and work out a solution to the Asylum and Loophole problems at the Southern Border. If not, Deportations start!

Basically, Trump wants to see if Democrats and Republicans can sort out a solution to the shitty asylum laws we have.
I’m not even sure what this means. Does this mean that Democrats will agree to fix the asylum laws in exchange for Trump not mass deporting people? If that’s the case, that’s pretty fucked up because we need to be doing both.
I honestly don’t think anything substantive is going to come from this. It seems to just be a delay tactic from the Democrats.
