Georgia is one of the few states that is looking at reopening their economy and end this unconstitutional and illegal lockdown that’s been implemented. For some unknown reason, the orange man at his coronavirus press conference yesterday, decided to attack the state governor and questioned his reopening plan.

Reason:

Last week, President Donald Trump was calling for Americans living under shelter-in-place orders to “liberate” their states. Now he’s condemning governors for daring to take his advice. On Wednesday, Trump said it’s “too soon” for reopening plans like the one Georgia plans to implement on Friday.

The about-face provides even more evidence that Trump’s big “liberation” energy was nothing more than a cynical political calculation.

It goes something like this: Push loudly for “reopening the economy”—knowing full well that local leaders, state authorities, and many individuals will resist. When collective reluctance to rush back to normalcy keeps the COVID-19 death toll lower than it otherwise might be, point to the low death toll as evidence that people were overreacting about the virus all along. As we draw closer to the election, Trump can then claim that the country’s economic pain could have been avoided if only everyone had listened to his advice by going out to eat and swarming the beaches months earlier.

That’s great Donald.

We don’t get a real immigration ban and now you are attacking one of the only state governors who is looking to reopen his state after you delegated that decision to the states.

His reopening plan wasn’t even a full reopening.

This is getting extremely tiring. The data shows conclusively that the coronavirus is no more dangerous than the flu and that’s with statistics that have been intentionally inflated to overstate coronavirus-related deaths. We also have empty hospitals all around the country some of which might be forced to close due to a lack of patients.

There is no medical crisis and no reason to delay a full reopening of the economy. The real crisis is the economic collapse caused by all these lockdowns. This is something that is going to take us years if not decades to recover from. It’s also very possible that we may never recover from this and society will collapse entirely.

I have no idea if the orange man is going to start shilling for a continued nationwide lockdown, but this is a possibility. Because even he has to realize how chaotic things will be once people understand how bad the economic situation is. Keeping people locked in their homes scared of an alleged doomsday virus is one way of putting a lid on protests and riots but it is not a sustainable long term strategy. People are already getting angry and staging protests. These protests are only going to get larger and happen with more frequency the longer these illegal lockdown orders are in place. Especially if these same people have no food to eat.
