Tommy Robinson has been put in prison for 13 months for protesting Moslem rapists. His imprisonment has also been subject to a government mandated media blackout.

RT:

EDL leader-turned independent journalist Tommy Robinson was jailed for 13 months on Friday. Leeds Crown Court blocked the media from publishing anything about Robinson’s imprisonment via reporting restrictions.

Robinson was on a suspended sentence, as he had previously been arrested for contempt of court after filming outside Canterbury Crown Court in May.

The reporting restriction prevented the publication of any content to do with Robinson’s arrest and subsequent imprisonment. The Independent, however, successfully appealed the reporting restriction on Tuesday.

On Friday, Robinson’s media team spoke with RT about his arrest.

The former EDL leader, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley, was arrested in Leeds after confronting defendants as they entered the courthouse to face trial over sexual abuse allegations. Robinson and his team were producing a live video for social media as several of the 29 defendants accused of child sex abuse and neglect entered the courthouse.

In a video posted on social media, Robinson – a self-styled defender of free speech – can be seen being arrested by a team of police officers. He is put in the back of a police van, with officers telling him that he was under arrest for “incitement” and “breach of the peace.”

So Robinson was outside of a courthouse where Moslem rapists were about to be put on trial. Somehow the British police concluded that his presence on a live video stream outside of the courthouse represented a “breach of the peace” and this led to him being charged and put in prison for contempt of court.

We have a situation where the British government will arrest people who protest Moslem rapists. And then they will go so far as to order the media to not report on the people they arrest who dislike Moslem rapists. The media blackout might have failed, but the fact that they issued such an edict shows how tyrannical the British government has become.

But none of this is a surprise. This type of thing has been going on for quite awhile, it’s just that nobody has drawn much attention to it. National Action a British activist group which was openly pro-Hitler got shut down by the government under the guise of anti-terrorism laws. Numerous other British political dissidents have been arrested and jailed for their political views and there was never any real outcry.

Since they got away with arresting the more hardcore nationalists, they’re now going after moderate dissenters. Robinson’s political views are Alt-Lite. He’s pro-Israel and he’s done work for the Jew Ezra Levant over at Rebel Media. That entire operation is dedicated to misdirecting people’s anger away from the Jews and focusing everyone’s attention on Moslems. But even this Alt-Lite niche which was considered a “safe” position is now getting the same treatment that so-called “Nazi” groups have been getting.

The fact that Matt Drudge had this story as his lead for almost 48 hours is notable. Of course when National Action got shut down, do you think Drudge or any of these Alt-Lite characters had anything to say about it? Of course they didn’t. They’re only expressing outrage about this attack on free speech because it impacted someone who operates in their political sphere. They fear that if this happens to Robinson, it could theoretically happen to them at some point. Even Jew-run controlled opposition platforms could get shut down if they start becoming an inconvenience.

But whatever, it would have been nice if all the people bringing up the free speech issue with Robinson did it when the so-called “Nazis” were getting arrested. It just shows that these people aren’t really interested in free speech and are merely looking out for their own personal interests.

Who knows though, maybe this will finally get people to take the free speech issue seriously. Or maybe it won’t. Guess only time will tell.
