I’ve been a semi-regular reader of the orange man’s Twitter feed. Largely because of the fact that many of his tweets feature newsworthy material and he occasionally posts some funny shit every once in awhile.
Unfortunately, his Twitter feed has become virtually unreadable in recent weeks. It feels like nine out of ten tweets he posts are about the impeachment circus. And the few times he isn’t posting about impeachment he tweets nonsense like how he would work with Democrats to give legal status to DACA recipients. And this is something that his base has no interest in.

I get that he wants to defend himself from all these lies, but the average orange man supporter couldn’t give a flying fuck about this impeachment bullshit. It’s all noise and a distraction to important things that many of us want done.
Instead of posting tweet after tweet about this dumb hoax, he should be posting tweets about substantive policy issues and doing things his supporters want. At minimum, he should be doing things like issuing executive orders on immigration while the Democrats are farting around with impeachment.
The whole situation is demoralizing.
