While I’m not optimistic, I hope Paul Ryan quits so Paul Nehlen can takes his place.
Paul Ryan is reportedly leaving Congress in 2018. Let’s hope this report turns out to be true. Ryan is denying these reports so this could just be a rumor floating around.
Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) is reportedly considering retiring after the 2018 midterm elections.
Politico reported Thursday that Ryan has told his “closest confidants” that his current term as Speaker will be his last.
According to Politico interviews with three dozen of Ryan’s colleagues, aides, lobbyists and allies, “not a single person believed Ryan will stay in Congress past 2018.”
Ryan told reporters on Thursday that he is not planning on leaving the House.
Asked at the end of his weekly press conference Thursday whether he was leaving Congress “soon,” Ryan chuckled and replied as he walked off the stage: “I’m not, no.”
Ryan is part of the old cuckservative establishment. He needs to be purged. He’s weak on immigration. We have a major demographic crisis in America and he’s afraid of confronting it because he doesn’t want to be called a racist.
I want him replaced with Paul Nehlen. You might remember that Nehlen ran against him last year in the Republican primary. He’s a hardliner on immigration and would represent the people of Wisconsin much better.
