Mike Pompeo is an absolute lunatic. He’s going around the world warning about the threat that Iran allegedly poses to the world. He just cancelled a trip to Moscow to warn Europe about how evil Iran is.

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is not coming to Moscow on Monday as previously planned, according to a report citing a State Department official. He will still meet the Russian president and foreign minister on Tuesday.
Instead of going to the Russian capital straight away, on Monday Pompeo will hold talks with European officials about “Iran and other issues,” Reuters cites an anonymous State Department official.
The cancelation of the Moscow leg of Pompeo’s visit will reportedly not affect his planned meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, which is scheduled to take place in Sochi on Tuesday. Pompeo is expected to talk to them about what Washington calls Russia’s “aggressive and destabilizing actions.” The US has repeatedly accused Russia of meddling all around the world, including most recently in Venezuela, where, according to Pompeo, only the US is allowed to meddle.
It’s probably best that he didn’t mean with the Russians. What would have been accomplished by such a meeting? He already sabotaged talks with North Korea to the point where they demanded his removal from negotiations. So based on that, it is safe to assume that he would have only made things worse.
But basically what this asshole is doing is trying to convince the Europeans to halt business activities with Iran. All because of non-specific intelligence provided to John Bolton by Israel and some secret nonsense about Iran that Pompeo refuses to publicly tell anybody about. It’s total madness and it’s being used to push for a potential war against Iran.
They’re obviously trying to squeeze Iran economically. They’ve been doing this for awhile but now they’re just stepping up their efforts. They could be trying to set the conditions to overthrow the government similar to the operation underway in Venezeula. And if all else fails, they can always stage a false flag attack on American military forces, blame it on Iran and invade them under that pretext.
