Here’s another high profile departure from Facebook. Playboy has announced that they are leaving the site. If this continues, we could see Facebook become MySpace all over again.

USA Today:

Playboy is leaving Facebook, one of the more high profile departures in the midst of the public backlash against leaks of users’ data by the social media platform.

Playboy said Wednesday that it is deactivating its accounts.

“The recent news about Facebook’s alleged mismanagement of users’ data has solidified our decision to suspend our activity on the platform at this time,’’ the company said in a statement. “There are more than 25 million fans who engage with Playboy via our various Facebook pages, and we do not want to be complicit in exposing them to the reported practices.’’

Facebook has faced growing backlash over the leak of data from tens of millions of users to the data analysis company Cambridge Analytica which says it helped Donald Trump win the presidency.

A #DeleteFacebook movement is taking on steam, with such high profile personalities as Tesla founder Elon Musk and singer, Cher announcing that they are exiting the platform.

The #DeleteFacebook movement has become a pretty big deal. People have had it with the censorship and questionable data mining practice that this Jew-run company has been involved with. All sorts of high profile people and organizations have had enough of it.

The fact of the matter is that Facebook stopped being cool back in the late 2000s. Based on what we know about this awful piece of shit service, I have no idea why anybody would want to be on it. As I’ve said before, I’d only be on it if I were trolling people.

Facebook is definitely in crisis mode. I can’t wait to see Mark Zuckerberg testify in front of Congress. I’d say there is a 50/50 chance that he shits himself when he testifies!
